I am writing from a London based television production company. We are developing a new series ' Stop Shouting At Me' for a major US network. I am producing a taster tape for the network and filming for this taster will take place in the New York area the week before Christmas and early in the New Year. We will be expanding the filming across America when the full series is commissioned. The executives are really keen to feature a NY taxi driver. Taxi drivers face so much verbal abuse for all sorts of reasons. Are you a driver,or do you know of a driver, who would allow us to follow him for a few hours. It would just be a camera woman with a small camera. The initial filming would NOT be for broadcast but for the network. If the driver didn't like the experience he/she needn't be in the series but of course, we would hope he/she would. Do you have anyone you would recommend? We would need to film and interview the person about why they are a taxi driver and how they feel when people shout at them.
