Selling my Medallion
My medallion is leased to a broker, however, I have decided to sell it to the same brokerage management. I have recently signed all of the documents necessary to sell my "individual" medallion. The Brokerage Co. has discovered that the cab has gotten into and accident about one year ago. The accident was minor; the passengers walked away immediately after the accident with no injuries, however, a month later a couple of those passengers reported the accident and they are suing for bodily injury. I desperately need this transaction to go through as soon as possible. Please advise me on this matter...

Re: Selling my Medallion
I think you should avoid brookers. How much your looking to sell it for?

Re: Selling my Medallion
I think the broker you are dealing with, is well aware of the situation before you decided to sell since they were the one who were managing the medallion for you. When you lease your medalion to the broker, shouldn't it be their responsible to take care of the issues? Also, the driver who was responsible for the accident at the time was working for the Taxi company not for you. So, think about it. Talk to other brokers and see what their reaction is.
