Most cabbies should really learn how to drive.

Moving in and out of the right lane to the curb at bus stops, obsturcting traffic in dense areas, like the Meat Pack District and The Lower East Side, stopping in the middle of an intersection, looking up the side streets for a fare, stalking someone on the street to get in their cab.

We have all seen this repeatedly. These drivers should realize that if someone wants to hail a cab, they will.

So if the program is about driving safely, while working, I'm all for it. But if the program is, just like anything else the TLC proposes, a way to generate more revenue, for the TLC and the handful of "approved" schools (I wonder how much they paid to get approved by the TLC)

By the way, Black Car drivers should take road tests every month as they are the worst drivers I have ever seen.
