I can't find a cab to rent.
Where are the old good days when you walked to a fleet and wanted to rent a cab and actually got one. I went to 7 fleets and they would not hire me becuase they don't have enough cars.

What do you expecct when 30,000+ drivers are going after 13,000~ cabs? You're going to run out. Can't blame the fleets, because they can't buy any more medalians, because the City won't sell any more, and if you can find one, they cost around $600,000, and that's just for the RIGHT to drive a cab, not the cost of the actuall car, gas, or anything else. I feel for you guys. |

Walk around JFK and talk to the drivers. Ask if they need a driver, and if so when. If not, keep walking, and talking. Eventually you should hit a private owner that might need you, and that you trust, and he trusts you. |
