racism among drivers
I think it is pathetic that their are ads for drivers that pit one ethnic group against another. Ads like (Country of origin) preferred. I am not trying to continue the ignorance, I am just mentioning the one I read on this website. Usually I am not in favor of censorship, but when someone blatantly promotes discrimination it makes me sick. This country has had enough discrimination to last many lifetimes. Thinking people should know better. If the person who holds this dislike of anyone not of their own culture cannot understand the concept of brotherhood here it is. All men/women are the same. No culture is without both good and evil people. The attitude that one culture is better than another is ridiculous. No matter who we are, no matter where we came from we should try to make this country a better place for all. Not just a few, not just who you like. Evil doesn't have a color or culture or language. It is universal, just as brotherhood should be. If you want to limit who you associate with, then only advertise in media outlets that cater to a limited group of people. A medium that seeks to reach a diverse base can certainly do without such a limited view of the world. We should at least have a live and let live attitude. After all most of us are family men, we should not be in the business of keeping anyone who is willing from doing an honest days work. This is unfortunately why taxi drivers continue to be screwed by everyone because we will not stick together as a group. Our enemies love this. As long as we stay divided we all suffer. Brotherhood Preferred.
