24hr class vs 80hr class

hey guys, I am relatively new to the geography of manhattan...applying for yellow hack...

Is it advisable to take the 24hr taxi class instead of the 80hr class? or will is it too difficult and not worth trying to save the money???

Re: 24hr class vs 80hr class
Hey, I'd say it depends, I took the 80 hour class, but honestly, I hardly go the outer bouroughs anyway, so I'm not sure its even worth it. Nothing beats experience behind the wheel. The first few days are much better than a classroom.

I honestly think it depends on your english and if you can study what they give you. Take the 24 hour class and study hard and you'll be OK.

24 hour works for most, unless you're completely new to NYC
