Question and a statement.
I drive a cab in Los Angeles, CA.
All I have to say is New York is insane!! All you need to drive a cab over here is a drivers license. I work whenever I want, for however long I want (as long as I can afford the lease.) But you people with the Taxi Limo Comm... Why put up with that crap?? Not even Las Vegas has such strict rules. I've always wanted to move to New York and drive a cab, but when I hear these stories, I really start to think twice.
Please don't misunderstand this post as disrespect. I look up to you people. Big time. I would just like to know if there is some sort "how-to" step by step plan you guys can help me out with.
If I owe tickets in Los Angeles, will it affect my ability to become a cabbie over there in NY?
