Ford Escape hybrid info
I was thinking about buying a used Escape hybrid taxi and was wondering if you guys (and gals) could give me your info on them. How reliable are they? Are they cheap to repair? Any known issues that I might want to consider? What should I look for when buying one?
I currently own an '07 Crown Vic with around 260K on it and it runs great, so I'm wondering if I'd be making a smart decision on selling my Crown Vic to buy the Escape.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Ford Escape hybrid info
Honestly, Hell no don't buy ford escape hybrid because i currently have 2 ford escapes and it's Horrible. Good on gas but repairs are expensive. The first 6-8 month brand new car it cost me about $5,000 to repair issues on each vehicle. I regret getting Ford Escapes for taxi purpose. I rather stick with Crown Victoria. Those are the best and especially for cabs. Wish you best with your decision!!!

Re: Ford Escape hybrid info
Thanks for the info. Could you give me a little insite of what goes wrong with it? I wouldn't buy it new, I would buy it once it's retired so it would probably be 3 years old with around 250K on it. I do like my 'Vic and owned 2 police Crown Vics before with little trouble. Surprisingly, with 4 bald tires and an open differental, I didn't get stuck once in the snow last year. lol Thanks!
