WILD,WILD,...WEST,AT THE DOOR AT HUDSON HOTEL, 58/AND 9 AVE!!
I WAS JUST PASSING IN THE FRONT OF HUDSON HOTEL,A PASSANGER FLAG ME AND GOT INT-O MY CAB,...THEN THE DOORMEN APROACH THE DRVER,...TO REQUIRE 5 DOLLARS!,...I DECLINED,THEN THE DOORMEN PULL DE PASSENGER OUT,...SEIZED HIS LUGGAGE AND FLAG ANOTHER DRIVER!,... I CALL 311 ,..CALL 911,... THE REZULT???.....YOU GUESS!!???.. THE DRIVER WAS FINED!....BY COPS!,... GOOD LUCK ....NEW-YORK CITY!! AND HUDSON HOTEL!! THINK WHAT YOUR GUEST FEELS WHEN AT THE END OF VACATION,..THEY 'RE BEEN ,AUCTIONED ...AT THE DOOR FOR 5 BUCKS!... ANY COMMENTS?...CALL ME! 917-499-5428 DANY |

Honestly, it happened to me once at another Hotel in Manhattan by the west north corner of 27th street and 6th ave. He asked me for $5 for an jfk fare so I told him no and he just went to ask for another Taxi. However, I call his hotel for a manager or general manager and told them the issue. If they don't resolve this issue then you can even take it further because someone I know is a Hotel manager and he told me the actions to take if the doorman does that to a driver. Wish you the best!

How would anyone know if the manager is not into this with the door man? the most direct way is to apologize directly to the passenger loud and clear that you cannot take him because the door man want $5 from you, make sure loud enough so people around there can hear you. hey, you never know who might be in the crowd. any doorman want to ruin your life, you ruin theirs also and also ask the passenger have they tip the doorman. you are not loosing $5. you are loosing$7.50 if put on a credit card. |
