what a question. this tell you how much respect you get as a nyc taxi driver.

yo, some people just don't care about others thats why... they will jump into a cab and do something nasty and forget to know the next passanger will need a decent cab.

Cab Drivers are olden time slaves in New York City. If you try to understand how your ride look at you is nothing but a low lifes who can pushed around, fooled, threatened with law. We drivers on average work 84hours week to make 1200 bugs. We push ourself with the stress and mean heartless passenger who shows meat like with tips and we all fall for it. We look like beggers for their tips. The city keeps the fare so low to get freebees for the resident and every damn fools in the cab. Think you get four passengers in your cab and they go for $10 fare, isn't it cheaper than the bus.. and they give you a dollar or two tip and expect you to thank them for their mercey.

I hope one brave person will come and take the city to human rights abuse and slavery.. We need a Martin Luther King or Ghandhi to help us.. Look at how many cabbies are sick, how they are tired.. you think anyone else in the city work their butt off like cabbies .. It's really a sin by manhattan residents, mayor and all authorities involved in hurting the drivers..

We drivers fight for rides and go against each other, why ?? because they puhsed us to such low level... Cabbies time to think.. find solution..

There are solutions, but cabdrivers are not getting involved. Furthermore, they are not using the computer, and not thinking about solutions, and impossible to organize them. How many cabbies posting comments or questions? Only a few, because in their mind nothing going to change for the better, and so they give up!
