how long a hybrid battery last for a hybrid cab?how much does replacement cost? any salvage battery out there and how reliable they are? is hybrid battery a hiden cost for a cab?

There is no set answer because it depends on how the battery has been treated. They don't like to be run all the way down, as an example. But, most cab hybrid batteries appear to be going the distance for 200,000 or better. They slowly lose their capacity with use. New ones cost anywhere from $3000 up depending on the make and model. There are salvage batteries out there for much cheaper. But you don't know what you are getting with a salvage unit, could be from another cab.
