Iligal pick up by limo from the hotel
hi, all of my yellow caby freinds .did you notice in front of the all big hotel .limo parked in a line . do you think they had a reservation from the passenger? or they getting our fair iligaly by paying doorman or hotel employee. what we should do? if they get our job. please let me know . |

I'm having the same trouble here in Richmond,Va. Not just the limo's but other independent cab owners are paying off hotel staff and it doesn't stop with the doorman. It's also housekeeping,security,etc.

This is nothing comparing to the illegal hail in midtown by the livery lincoln including Jersey and connecticut plate, and who is going to do something about this? these guys is really stealing from our income. and it is highly over charge customer. I did not see and official cracking down on this. |

tlc did issue highest numbers of street hail tickets than ever before ..only 478 tickets in 2010. and in 2011 only first 4 months they issue 2900 tickets. so we are in December so close to 9000 tickets has been issue..to limo drivers who pickups in city.

this ticket and fine means nothing when these limo can make 400 minus gas a day clean, writing tickets is a sign of TLC's incapabitlities to control these livery car. the car need to be seized , impounded plus a fine. yellow cab drvier is nearly working for free after alll the deductions, let them taste it. this can also take some traffic off the street. |

Limos and private cars charge 80$ up to jfk than they give 20$ to doorman |
