Last week I had a lady and her child, the kid thow up in the car. when she paid she left one dollar tip. I was mad , it was friday evening and the city was busy, so I asked her to pay me 20$ for the car wash and for my time but she refused and said it's against the law. I insisted and said that if she doesn't want to pay I will take her the precinct, so after arguing for a while she paid me 20$. even after paying me 20$ I still lost money.

I am wondering what do you guys do when someone throw up, do you charge them money? if so how much? what do you do if they refuse to pay or say they don't have money? and in case you call the police, will the police ask them to pay you?

my opinion is if the customer pay for the cleaning, this is the best you can get. try to keep a couple of plastic bag and paper towel in the cab for emergency, especially new year eve.
