Broker not allowing the transfer of a vehicle.
I am trying to sell my cab, which is leased. My broker is telling me that I cannot transfer my vehicle to another person, and I could only give it up. Is this legal. Does anyone have an idea how this works? Thanks.

Re: Broker not allowing the transfer of a vehicle.
What you mean by transfer of the vehicle? Basically you are not selling your medallion right? And you are just selling your vehicle to people outside and not to another person who is going to rehack your vehicle as their own. Because that isn't allowed and it depends on how old is your vehicle too. There are lots of questions to be asked before you can do that. TLC has a bunch of rules you can and Can NOT do. Be a little more specific, so i can help you out as much as I can.
