we dont need someone to defend us ,we can defend our selves and be strong against any rules that treat drivers like roaches ,we are educated and most of the drivers are highly educated just because  yu drive a cab

we can discuss out the issue at jfk and lguardia lot every day and teach drivers not to pay over high leases to brokers and garages the blood suckers.

door man one day said to me this is my door after complaing against him for asking me to pay him in order to get a lguardia trip and he didnt know that i pay in total by my blood 1200$ a week .what they thinking

.we need to defend our self .any door man that sells out there any fair .yu must post his location at this forum otherwise

you personnelly want to tip him not because of the trip but because of his respect to the rules of taxi and limousine commission.

and we need to standup against high lease ,and not only the driver who must pay the high gas prices but all the city has to share the out come.

I know we should put our foot down and stand for our rights. I know the doorman takes money for airport trips when you compare this to these two doorman (one ugly looking fat pig and other medium built pig).i was really hurt the way he treat. These two pigs want to hurt the cabbies, as you said. They think we are roaches whereas 99% of us law obeying citizens trying to make living with hard work. The piece missing is we are inconsiderate to fellow cabbies by 1) letting the publice to abuses 2) unfairly compete among drivers.

If you look at deeply, most drivers are not career oriented. They are just there to make that day and dont worry about the next day.

The industry is such, the cabbies look for unfair opportunities to make money and it works better for New york cities economy at the cost of drivers. We should have some respect for this profession until then it is not going to change

If you want to know the garages overcharging now, the top one is SUFI in lic and another in LIC charge upto $1800 dollar a week. They take under the table so much and keep ethenic staff and young girls so drivers overlook the unfairness.

As I say before, if doorman does not respect cab driver and demand money for airport trip, just walk up to the passenger and tell it like it is , it does not matter if they call the police, make the noise, as loud as possible, if the manager come out, you ask him if he is in this with the doorman. if they touch you, you sue the hotel. why should you give a sh..t if they don't give a sh..t about you. All man are create equal.

P.S. I don't wait on hotel to get airport job. not worth it, but if I happen to be there and doorman ask me for money, I tell him to go to hell and ask the passenger myself. who cares?

I wrote to ritz carlton corporate office and I got a very positive response to my mail. I dont go there often. Does anyone see difference in doormen attitudes at ritz carlton? please let me know, we can change one hotel at time. if we all work together.
