Suspension/ Revocation question
Does anyone know if 6 points results in an *automatic* suspension and 10 points automatic revocation, or is it left to the discretion of the TLC? I've been mounting up tickets since the NYPD decided to increase their quota on cab drivers 1,000,000% and fear my license will not survive. Anyone have experience w/ this?

Re: Suspension/ Revocation question
One of my friend he has 9 points on his license and he is still driving. 2 tickets are pending as well. TLC summon him and told him that your license suspended for 1 month but driver he spoke the lawyer she was there at TLC hearing and told her he can not survive as he has to support his family. The lawyer spoke to the judge same time and the decision was adjourned.
She told my friend next hearing date she will settle her case against $1000 and no suspension. Lets c what will happen he is going on Next Wednesday.
But she took her fees i think he paid around $200.

Yes, I've researched this more since posting an your friend can still be revoked if the points hit 10 within a 15 month period. I don't know how drivers are going to survive the new ticket quotas. Doesn't seem possible.
